Unique and highly rewarding to grow, Hymenocallis ‘Festalis’ will bring a fairy-like delicacy to your floral display. With a heavenly fragrance reminiscent of scented narcissi, this ‘Peruvian Daffodil’ offers a long flowering window throughout the summer.
Lacy, ivory-white trumpets are encircled by a distinctive halo of fine, elongated tepals curling back on themselves. ‘Festalis’ has earned the much-coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit for its excellent performance and dependability.
The tall, sturdy stems also make exceptional cut flowers and forced bulbs to savour indoors, filling the room with their irresistible perfume.
It is easy to see why Hymenocallis are often referred to as the ‘Spider Lily’, and none more so than the curious ‘Harrisiana’. This unique variety features wispy, stranded segments emanating from a small central trumpet, crowned by thread-like filaments.
The slender flowers waft above dark green, strap-like foliage. Beyond their fanciful appearance, these ‘Peruvian Daffodils’ deliver incredible scent – like a citrus-laced Lily of the Valley.
The delicate, spindly blooms are a novel addition to containers and the front of borders, to be admired up close. Offer some winter protection to ensure a repeat performance year after year
The sherbet-yellow blooms of Hymenocallis ‘Sulphur Queen’ will bring a zesty freshness to your garden, offering infinite charm with their fascinating form and captivating fragrance.
Resembling the ‘hoop petticoat’ Narcissus Bulbicodium, this striking variety of ‘Peruvian Daffodil’ flowers all summer long. The lightly feathered, flared, trumpet-shaped corolla is surrounded by slender, starry tepals.
The petite blooms deliver a powerful, citrus scent, adding to their charismatic appeal. Well-suited to warmer regions and growing in the conservatory or greenhouse, ‘Sulphur Queen’ has been granted an RHS Award of Garden Merit for vigour and superior performance.
