Triandrus Narcissi Sunlight Sensation
N0341
Description
As gladdening as those first spring rays of warmth after a long winter, the golden-yellow blooms of narcissus ‘Sunlight Sensation’ capture the joy of spring sunshine. This balmy, cheerful addition to the ‘Sensation’ series is a worthy sister variety to ‘Starlight’ and ‘Moonlight Sensation’. With 3 to 4 stems from every bulb, and 2 or more flowers carried on each stem, this triandrus narcissus puts on a spectacular show. The lemon-yellow blooms also produce a phenomenal fragrance, which drifts on the breeze to lift the spirits. Brighten pots and containers, and scatter amongst borders and lawns for a dose of floral Vitamin D in every corner of the garden.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
