Description
Tall, regal stems of Hardy Gladiolus Charm showcase rich purple blooms, making for a striking vertical element in garden borders. Happy in borders and containers, these flowers bring bold colour and sophistication to sunny settings.
Their elegant form and vibrant hues make this an eye-catching addition to summer displays.
Care Guide
For early flowering, hardy Gladiolus, choose a warm and sunny, well-drained location.
Plant corms with the pointy side up, 8-10cm deep and 15cm apart in the soil. Provide consistent watering after planting and during dry spells, ensuring soil remains moderately moist.
Plant corms at intervals, every two weeks from spring until early summer for a staggered display.
Robust stems of elegant, sword-shaped blooms rise to heights of 60-75cm between June and August.
After flowering, remove spent and withered stalks and foliage and apply a mulch to the soil in late autumn.
