Large Cupped Narcissi Stainless
N0199
Description
The immaculate blooms of Narcissus ‘Stainless’ add a contemporary feel to spring planting. With a dash of green deep in the eye, these perfectly proportioned flowers bloom in a traditional large Daffodil shape, whilst being pure white in colour; dazzling when they catch in sunlight and uplifting a dull corner.
Regarded as the best large-cupped white Narcissus, ‘Stainless’ flawless beauty must be seen to be believed.
Looks sensational in a white border with Tulips, Fritillaria and late Hellebores.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
