Indoor Flowering Narcissi Grand Soleil d'Or
N0724
Description
Excellent for indoor forcing, Narcissus ‘Grand Soliel d’Or’ will bring a ray of sunshine into your home during the gloom of winter.
This showy daffodil produces elegant, upright stems topped with clusters of golden yellow flowers and contrasting orange cups – perfect for creating a warm and welcoming, cheerful indoor display.
Our premium quality bulbs are best planted with half of the bulb showing above soil level, in pots or bowls before being stored in a cool, dark area for 12 weeks to produce a healthy root system. Then bring them out into a bright, warm space such as a sunny windowsill where they will flower after 6 weeks.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
