Care Guide
Commonly known as Sicilian honey garlic, Nectaroscordum are closely related to Alliums and share many of the same qualities.
Perfect for naturalising in wild, nature-friendly gardens and grassy areas, these unique plants thrive in both sunny and shaded sites.
Plant the bulbs 10cm deep and 20-30cm apart into any well-drained soil, ensuring the pointed ends face upward. Nectaroscordum can also be grown in containers with drainage holes – place the bulbs more closely together for a bountiful pot display.
Sturdy stems rise to heights of 85cm in May and June, bearing umbels of dangling, bell-shaped blooms.
