Description
Exuding charisma and charm, ‘Mary Bohannon’ beams in spring sunshine, radiating warmth with her saturated colours. The perfectly proportioned and sizeable blooms feature a large, deeply serrated and frilled glowing orange corona and six perfect lemon petals, which reflex slightly when fully open.
Plant as part of a colourful spring mix, or in bold clumps or ribbons throughout the garden for dramatic effect.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
