Description

The rosy, ruffled flowers of Gladiolus ‘Charming Beauty’ will lend a soft, romantic air to your garden and home. The peaches and cream complexion of this bloom imparts a delicate femininity and charm befitting of its name.

A pale, ivory throat blends outwards into blushing pink, lightly frilled petal edges. This pretty variety can be subtly woven throughout herbaceous borders and container displays. The upright spires gently draw the eye upwards with their vertical lines.

Gladiolus ‘Charming Beauty’ makes a heavenly, long-lasting cut flower for you to create delightful floral arrangements and bouquets to give to loved ones.

Care Guide

For early flowering, hardy Gladiolus, choose a warm and sunny, well-drained location.

Plant corms with the pointy side up, 8-10cm deep and 15cm apart in the soil.  Provide consistent watering after planting and during dry spells, ensuring soil remains moderately moist.

Plant corms at intervals, every two weeks from spring until early summer for a staggered display.

Robust stems of elegant, sword-shaped blooms rise to heights of 60-75cm between June and August.

After flowering, remove spent and withered stalks and foliage and apply a mulch to the soil in late autumn.
