Crocosmia Columbus
M6174
Description
Golden yellow blooms on elegant arching stems make Crocosmia Columbus a vibrant feature in any summer garden.
These radiant flowers add warmth and light, brightening sunny borders and mixed arrangements. Perfect for creating contrast, their cheerful presence uplifts any planting scheme with optimism and brilliance.
Care Guide
Select a sunny spot with well-drained, humus-rich soil. Plant corms 10cm deep, spaced 15cm apart in the soil.
Provide regular watering, ensuring the soil remains consistently moist.
From a bed of sword-shaped foliage, slender stems of fiery-blooms emerge, rising to heights of 50-90cm depending on the variety, from July to October.
Left undisturbed, corms will multiply easily below ground. Divide clumps every 3 years.
