Triandrus Narcissi Starlight Sensation
N0342
Description
The pure white brilliance of narcissus ‘Starlight Sensation’ will light up your garden like twinkling stars on a cloudless night. Winner of the ‘Best Daffodil Award’ at the Philadelphia Flower Show, this remarkable variety is an admirable addition to the ‘Sensation’ series. This miniature marvel produces up to 4 stems per bulb and multiple flower heads on each stem, creating an impressive display. Make the most of the fruity fragrance of ‘Starlight Sensation’ by filling containers. On a larger scale, a constellation of these sparkling beauties will illuminate borders and grass swathes, where they will continue to shine year after year.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
