Description

Elegant, pointed ivory petals and a soft yellow trumpet make Narcissus ‘Topolino’ an excellent choice for growing to naturalise in grassy areas where they will be illuminated on bright spring days and add movement in the breeze when planted en masse.

This refined, petite Heirloom Daffodil was introduced in 1923 and is loved for its delicate looks and surprisingly sturdy habit.

Great for growing in containers with pastel Muscari and early bedding such as Violas.

Care Guide

Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
