Camassia Leichtlinii Caerulea
M5203
Description
One of the finest cultivars of Camassia, ‘Leichtlinii Caerulea’ bears slender stems of deep mauve-blue flowers during June.
Wonderful for bringing an enchanting look to early summer gardens with its pretty, statuesque spires, this charming Camassia is easy to grow and thrives in moisture-retentive soil, in sun or dappled shade. Wild meadow areas suit Camassias well, where the bulbs will naturalise freely amongst long grass. Plant in small groups or ribbons for striking effect.
The nectar-rich, long-lasting flowers are loved by bees and pollinators and make fabulous cut flowers, bringing sparkle and colour to bouquets and arrangements.
