Description

The flattened and scalloped lime-green cup of Narcissus ‘Sinopel’ resembles a tiny coupe plate rather than a cup or trumpet, which we perhaps most associate with Daffodils. Combined with a collar of large, crisp-white petals, this exquisite Narcissus is a chic cultivar, perfect for adding contemporary edge to spring garden displays.

The uplifting scent of sweet spring flowers is exuded, particularly on warm, sunny days when ‘Sinopel’ blooms in April.

This fresh and viridescent Daffodil performs best in dappled shade and produces tall stems, ideal for cutting.

Care Guide

Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
